My own fitness transformation began in 2009. My choices had led me to a place I didn’t like. I was overweight, out of shape, physically and mentally drained. I knew I needed to make some changes, so I began to exercise and eat better. Over the course of the next 18 months I had lots of ups and downs. Finally a switch flipped in my head and I approached fitness with a new attitude and mindset. This has led me to a fit and healthy new life. I feel amazing and look 10 years younger. I have a laid back, yet kick ass approach to fitness that has worked for me and many others. I have a passion for feeling, performing and looking as fit as I can, and love coaching others to do the same. My fun and comical style makes the workouts a lot more enjoyable.
In 2013 I retired after a 20 year career in the Army and moved to Prescott, AZ. Since 2010, I have earned 17 fitness and nutrition certifications/specializations including: Boot Camp Instructor, Kettlebell Instructor, Wellness Coach, Fitness Nutrition Coach and Progressive Calisthenics Instructor. I am the author of the book ‘Operation Motivation – The Ultimate Guide to Crush your Fitness Excuses’.
I enjoy hiking, traveling, sightseeing, and listening to music. I have been married for 15 years to my wife Carren and we have two wild little boys who are 7 and 10. We love living in Arizona!
